How It All Began... With a Party.

My name is Alex Fielding, and for years, my passion has been creating unforgettable parties.

My wife, Hillary, and I fell into the event industry almost by accident. She was a successful hairstylist who began doing bridal makeup, and I was a banker who took a weekend gig as a DJ just to make some extra cash. Little did we know that this side hustle would grow into The Event Co., a full-service event rental and DJ company that has been a part of countless weddings and celebrations across Arizona.

(BTW, my wife would be very upset if I failed to admit that she came up with the name “The Event Co.” All credit goes to you babe.)

Over the years, we’ve learned what it takes to turn a simple space into a breathtaking experience. We’ve set up everything from dance floors to farm tables, but we quickly realized one thing...

Of all the elements we brought to a wedding or a corporate gala, nothing transformed a space quite like the lighting.

The right lighting could make a barn feel like a grand ballroom or a backyard feel like an enchanted forest. It was the one thing that consistently got the biggest "oohs and aahs" from guests. It set the mood, created the magic, and made every detail shine.
